OUR VISION at the St. Joseph Church of Christ is to be known as Jesus’ disciples through actions that are motivated by love for God, for each other, and for those who suffer spiritually and physically.
We want to be known as a people who are moving beyond the four walls of our building into the world around us as Christ’s disciples. We believe a disciple is a person striving to be grounded in the principles of The Beatitudes of Jesus.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist in ministry for over 30 years my hope and prayer is that I will be able to encourage others to fall in love with Jesus and choose to live life according to His principles and values. Like so many in life, I have been the bruised reed of Matthew 12:20 that God, in His mercy, has chosen not to break so that I can serve Him. My Bruised Reed blogs are written to hurting people who are willing to join us and consider finding healing in the arms of Christ.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Jesus – Matthew 11:28-30).
